Italian Cream Cake

1 stick margarine
1/2c. crisco
2c. sugar
5 egg yolks
5 egg whites, beaten stiff
2c. flour
1/4tsp. salt
1tsp. soda
1c. buttermilk
1tsp. vanilla
1tsp. coconut flavoring
1c. coconut
1c. pecans
Cream together margarine, crisco, and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat, stir in flour and salt. Add soda to buttermilk; add to mixture. Stir in vanilla, coconut flavoring, coconut, and pecans. Fold in egg whites last. Pour in three 8 inch cake pans, greased and floured. Bake at 350 until done.
ICING
1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 stick margarine
1tsp. vanilla
1lb. box 10x sugar
Cream all together and spread on cake
