Cointreau Granita
Will Need:
3 seperate cups of water
1 cup of sugar
4 cups of fresh strawberries
1 cup of cointreau
Combine one cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan
to a boil, stirring it until sugar dissolves, remove from heat
and let it cool. Place strawberries in blender and process it
until its smooth. Pour into medium bowl and stir in the cool
temperature sugar syrup, the other 2 cups of water, and the
cointreau. Pour mixture into a 7x11 inch baking dish. Cover
and freeze for 8-10 hours or until its firm. Remove from
freezer and let it stand for 7-10 minutes. Scrape entire
mixture with a fork until fluffy.
